Seeing Without Eyes...

Dear Friends,

Your mind is an incredibly versatile learning machine.
You are constantly learning whether you know it or not, because your unconscious is always learning isn't it...
I recently saw a remarkable video clip. The kid in the video had his eye removed when he was two years old due to cancer.
The amazing fact is this boy learned to 'see' using echo location, rather like bats do, utilizing sound. In the clip you get to see him playing soccer, skating down a street and playing video games!

I hope you found that inspiring.
Just imagine, if a person can achieve that, what obstacles can you overcome and how many new learnings can you attain?
What else is possible?
What is your mind really capable of ?
What is stopping you from achieving what you want?

Imagine 50 years of happy customers

Dear Friends,

You may have noticed the Google logo seems to made out of LEGO bricks today, and has a minifig sitting on top. That's because it's the fiftieth anniversary of LEGO Group founder Ole Kirk Christiansen's patenting of the now-iconic brick. This year is also the 30th anniversary of the minifig and 10th anniversary of LEGO MINDSTORMS.

(The company has actually been putting out toys since the '40s but only settled on the perfect brick architecture in 1958.)

Who can doubt the huge impact of LEGO? The bricks have been used to create 3D printers, autopilots and buckyballs. Architects concept with LEGO bricks. It has inspired museum-quality works of art as well as more humble ones. There are an average of 62 legos per inhabitant of the Earth, with 2,400 different kinds of bricks in 53 colors. There are 55,600 LEGO videos on YouTube and over 170,000 pictures on Flickr.

To commemorate the anniversary, the LEGO Group is holding a series of building challenges around the world to determine the best builder in each country between the ages of 6 and 13. The finalists will invited to Denmark to participate in a huge building bonanza. Details will be revealed in March on www.LEGO.com/Club.

Imagine your business 50 years from now... full of smiling, raving fans...
You don't have to imagine it, start building your raving fans now....one relationship at a time.

Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better.

Sunday April 15, 2007

Dear Friends,

Probably like a lot of other people I never really like Tony Robbins or any other motivational speakers, but surprise I was wrong and changed my feelings about him after I saw him speak at Ted. I now totally understand why Tony Robbins is so popular. His honesty was disarming and his energy was infectious.

In this fast-paced talk (clocking in far shorter than his typical three-day seminars), iconic motivational speaker Tony Robbins explains how to unlock your true potential, and asks the audience (including former Vice President Al Gore) for a bit of high-level interaction. The spontaneous on-stage interaction between Gore and Robbins creates an unforgettable TED moment, and also demonstrates the power of Robbins’ direct -- even confrontational -- approach, which calls on his listeners to look within themselves, and find the inner blocks that prevent them from finding fulfillment.

About Tony Robbins:
Tony Robbins might have one the world’s most famous smiles; his beaming confidence has helped sell his best-selling line of self-help books, and fill even his 10,000-seat seminars. What’s less known about the iconic motivational speaker is the range and stature of his personal clients. From CEOs to heads of state to Olympic athletes, a wide swath of high-performing professionals (who are already plenty motivated, thank you very much) look to him for help reaching their full potential.

Robbins’ expertise in leadership psychology is what brought him to TED. Some of his techniques -- firewalking, for example -- are magnets for criticism, but his underlying message is unassailable: We all have the ability to make a positive impact on the world, and it’s up to us, as individuals, to overcome our fears and foibles to reach that potential.

Robbins has won many accolades for his work -- including his memorable performance in the Jack Black comedy Shallow Hal. (It was a small but vital role.) His Anthony Robbins Foundation works with the homeless, elderly and inner-city youth, and feeds more than 2 million people annually through its International Basket Brigade.

212 Degrees: Inspiration at Its Boiling Point

Based on the mega-hit book by Sam Parker and Mac Anderson, the short film 212° The Extra Degree has become a true phenomenon in the business world. Interestingly, the film offers no expert economic advice or best business practices. It reveals no code-cracking, money-making secrets or pragmatic platitudes. Instead, it serves up an inspiring and memorable metaphor of action, persistence, and potential that grabs hold of the viewer and won't let go.

Video Will Open In New Window

The concept is simple. At 211 degrees, water is extremely hot. At 212 degrees, however, water begins to boil. With boiling water comes steam, and with steam comes enough power to fuel an engine, a locomotive – even a ship! That extra degree, that extra effort, is the difference between being great and just being good. It's an amazing concept that everyone can appreciate and relate to on many levels. After all, the difference between a gold and silver medal performance is often a mere fraction of a second.

For Sam Parker and Mac Anderson, the most fundamental principle of success boils down to that one degree; that extra something that unlocks potential and opens the door to achievement beyond all expectation.
